At the Village Winery we are seasonally able to offer one-of-a-kind and highly sought after wine Limited Editions. These very special, high quality choices are very limited in number and generally arrive in the December – April period. Please call or email to reserve any of the Limited Editions.

The prices listed are for the kits or ingredients only. To make wine on site, our regular fee of $55 is charged. There is no additional charge for labels, caps or corks. Each batch makes the equivalent of 30 – 750 ml bottles.

MERLOT - CABERNET FRANC (Paso Robles, California – Passport Series)  ... $133

SOLD OUT - This medium-bodied blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc offers a balanced and soft rustic profile.  Merlot stands as the fruit-forward backbone of the wine, while the aromatic Cabernet Franc rounds out the blend with soft spices and herbal notes. On the nose and palate, this wine offers plum, red and black berries and dark cherry fruit notes with underlying woody smoke, herbal spice and soft tannins.

CABERNET - MERLOT - SYRAH (Chile – Cru Select RQ) ... $153

SOLD OUT - Revel in layer upon layer of surprise in this Chilean Cabernet Merlot Syrah. Enticing hints of smoke and luscious qualities are intricately woven into this wine's darkly exotic character. This full-bodied wine, fermented on crushed grapes, presents aromas of juicy blackberries, cassis, mocha and spices. On the palate it showcases polished tannins and a smooth finish.

BLACK CAB (Cabernet Sauvignon & Gamay Noir) (Lodi, California – Selection LE) ... $138

SOLD OUT -Black Cab is an intriguing blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Gamay Noir. Famay is a light bodied wine revered for its floral aromas and earthiness, with tart red berry and lively acidity. Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied red loaded with black fruits, cherry, black pepper and hints of earth.

FUME BLANC (Hawkes's Bay, New Zealand – Selection LE) ... $137

SOLD OUT - Made from lush New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, this mouth-filling wine delivers a rush of ripe tropical fruit on the palate, with complex layers of gooseberry and melon, bright acidity and hints of grassy mineral notes expertly harmonized with a gentle, creamy vanilla oak. 

CHARDONNAY - SEMILLON (Chile - Cru Select RQ)... $148

SOLD OUT - This dry wine features refreshing aromas of white flowers, golden delicious apples, lemon custard and vanilla. The crisp acidity of Chardonnay is mellowed by the smooth and subtle flavours of Semillon.

WEST COAST WHITE (PINOT GRIS - CHARDONNAY - RIESLING) (Willamette - Lodi - Yakima – Passport Series) ... $129

1 LEFT - The perfect trio of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Riesling create this medium-bodied white wine. Fresh aromas of orchard fruit and delicate honey rise from the glass, while the palate sings with lively pineapple, lemon and stone fruit flavours combined with hints of apple, pear and honey. This tasty combination can be made dry or slightly off dry, depending on your preference.

CORAZON - (CARMENERE - CABERNET FRANC - SYRAH - PAIS) (Chile - Selection LE)  ... $137

SOLD OUT - Carmenere, the signature Chilean grape, delivers jammy raspberry and herbal spice. Cab Franc brings bold cherry, juicy berry and acidity, while Syrah leads intense black fruit flavours and tannin. Pais, widely planted in Chile for centuries but little-known elsewhere rounds out the blend with rustic red fruit and crisp acidity. This juicy blend is full of expressive black and red berries, surrounded by cherry and tart plum notes in harmony with the underlying oak, bright acidity and smooth polished tannins.

NEBBIOLO (Italy – Cru Select RQ) ... $153

SOLD OUT - The feature grape in Italy's great Barolos, Nebbiolo has aromas of black cherries, dark berries, dried pink and purple flowers, and spice. This big red, fermented on crushed grapes, offers a broad texture, as well as polished tannins on the palate.

MALBEC - GARNACHA - SYRAH (Mendoza, Argentina & Valencia, Spain – Passport Series)... $133

SOLD OUT - A marriage of Argentina and Spain brings a full-bodied wine rich in aromas of dark berries with nuances of licorice and chocolate. Balanced and full with soft tannins, a palate of ripe black and blue berries are complemented with spice of black and white pepper, creating a finish that is long and pleasing.

SYMPHONY - GEWURZTRAMINER (Sierra Foothills, California - Selection LE) ... $137

SOLD OUT - The little known Symphony grape is one of California's hidden gems, bringing peach, apple and tropical fruit flavours. It is a natural compliment to Gewurztraminer's characteristic lychee notes. An aromatic blend with floral and juicy peach aromas, this white wine deliciously combines lush tropical and stone fruit flavours. Crisp and bright with expressive fruit flavours, it may be made dry or sweetened to taste.

MONASTRELL (Spain - Cru Select RQ) ... $153

MARCH 2019 - This full-bodied dry red wine unveils aromas of black and red berries, black pepper, and spices from oak. Fermented on Cru Select's crushed grapes, Monastrell on the palate presents woody flavours and polished tannins for a bold finish.

SUPER TUSCAN (Tuscany, Italy - Passport Series) ... $141

SOLD OUT - Super Tuscan, a term made popular in the 1980's, is used to describe wines made in Chianti that did not follow the strict DOCG rules using varietals non-indigenous to the region. A blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this full-bodied Super Tuscan exhibits aromatic notes of oak, vanilla, leather and spice while the palate punches with bold blackberry and raspberry flavours. Fermented on crushed grapes, the firm but not aggressive tannins and a long lingering finish makes this wine a true show stopper.

BARBARESCO (Piedmont, Italy - Selection LE) ... $148

SOLD OUT - Widely regarded as one of Italy's top wines, this Barbaresco is undeniably delicious. Made with Nebbiolo, Piedmont's most respected and most loved red wine grape, this wine exudes intense aromas of juicy cherry combined with toasty oak and spice. The sumptuous palate seduces with cherry and ripe red berries, licorice, baking spice leather and earthy notes. It boasts balance and structure with firm velvety tannins, a full body and a beautiful long lasting finish.
